ATAA Membership Benefits


The ATAA is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to serve its members. The benefits of being a member include:

Monthly meetings in nine major Australian cities

These meetings provide an excellent opportunity to meet and socialise with other traders in your local area. Each meeting includes a presentation by an industry recognised speaker and all meetings are free for members from any state. Click here to view the details of the next ATAA meeting in your area.

Web resouce

Members have full access to the ATAA website which features educational resources including numerous presentation slides from ATAA meetings and a large Document Library containing hundreds of articles covering a wide range of topics related to trading and investing in the financial markets. Topics include trading strategies, risk management, market psychology and others. A search facility enable members to quickly locate articles based on keywords or author.

INO TV – streaming audio and video presentations

ATAA members have FREE and unlimited access to the complete range of INO TV services, which includes over 500 audio and video presentations (streamed directly over the Internet), from recognised speakers such as Jack Schwager, Linda Rachke, Toby Crabel, Larry Williams and others. The normal cost of this service is US$95.00 per annum, but is completely free to ATAA members. Click here to view the full range of presentations available.

Extensive video library (VHS and DVD)

Members in Australia and New Zealand may borrow titles from the ATAA video library, which contains several hundred educational videos. The video library is FREE to members. Videos are returned to the library via registered post.

Annual Conference

The ATAA hosts an annual conference to allow traders from around the country to meet and hear selected industry experts from Australia and around the world speak on a variety of trading related topics. This is a major educational event for traders and investors.

Member discounts

Members receive discounts on a range of products and services related to the financial markets. This includes books, videos, software etc.

International Affiliation

The ATAA is affiliated with the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) which helps members keep abreast of international markets and techniques. All ATAA members are therefore colleagues of IFTA and are entitled to attend the annual IFTA conference at reduced rates. ATAA members are also eligible to enroll in IFTA's education program, which provides two an internationally recognised qualifications in technical analysis.
